Placing Orders and Trading QTC

In Market, Buy shows sell orders from which you can buy QTC. Sell shows buy orders to which you can sell QTC. You can sort by quantity or unit price and switch between card and list views. Listings are public; creating or accepting orders and signing transactions require an unlocked, bound local wallet.

Create a buy order#

Click Create order and select Buy QTC, then enter the QTC quantity and unit price. The dialog shows your current QTC balance, current USDT balance and the QTC amount you would receive for the order. A buy order requires sufficient BSC USDT. Submission may first require a USDT approval transaction, followed by the contract placing the order amount in escrow. Creating a buy order uses your USDT; it does more than display an intention to buy.

Once the buy order is open, another seller can click Sell to buyer. The seller accepts the order, then locally signs and broadcasts the QTC delivery transaction to the buyer's address bound to the order. While waiting for BSC and QTC state updates, follow the instructions in My orders.

Create a sell order#

When you select Sell QTC, the dialog shows both balances and the estimated USDT proceeds after the seller's trading fee. The seller needs enough QTC for the listed quantity plus the additional QTC delivery network-fee allowance required by the order. Creating a sell order records this reservation in the contract order. The QTC remains in the seller's Quantus wallet until it is delivered to the buyer when the trade takes place.

When a buyer accepts the sell order, the buyer deposits the required USDT into the BSC escrow contract. The seller then clicks Continue automatic QTC delivery or Check and continue transaction in My orders. The seller's local wallet signs and sends the QTC. Do not send a separate transaction for the same amount from an external wallet as a substitute for order delivery.

Input and order limits#

  • Each market order must be at least 3 QTC. The page limits a single order to no more than 100,000 USDT.
  • QTC quantity inputs support up to 6 decimal places; USDT unit prices support up to 2 decimal places. Other characters cannot be submitted.
  • The contract calculates the USDT amount in cents for the entire order. The same BSC wallet may participate in at most 3 active orders at once.
  • Before placing an order, refresh and check your balances, quantity, unit price, estimated proceeds and full receiving address. Displayed balances use 6 decimal places and may omit smaller amounts beyond that precision.
  • While an order is being created, the dialog displays the on-chain operation status and prevents closing or repeated clicks. Do not refresh the page or submit the same order from multiple tabs.

Canceling, claiming and My orders#

You can cancel your own unfilled orders in My orders. Canceling an open sell order releases its QTC reservation. After canceling an open buy order, follow the page's claim process to collect the USDT refund allocation. Orders that have been accepted or entered delivery follow different on-chain states and timeout rules; they cannot be canceled as ordinary open listings.

My orders shows the on-chain orders involving your current local wallet. It does not refresh automatically while idle. It updates after transactions, and you can also refresh it manually. The block explorer link on an order card opens the corresponding on-chain record. When funds become claimable, click Claim using the wallet entitled to them. The on-chain receipt and your balance determine whether the funds have actually arrived.
